A Baby Born

A frosty morn and a baby born
Inside a barn with manger
A frosty morn for a baby born
To save us all from danger

He grew to be a carpenter
A man who works with wood
This gave him skills to shape our souls
From bad towards the good

He showed each day in every way
How we all should live
Cause no pain do no harm
And from your heart you give

Love towards family friends and strangers
Love for the father of a boy in a manger
He taught and guided us and then he died
Nailed to a cross on which he cried

Father forgive them for they know not what they do
No matter what unto the end his heart stayed firm and true
At Christmas time remember why we celebrate this date
Its for a man who gave us love and tried to end our hate
